Most of the focus has been brought to bear on the anomalies which surround what has become known as the Cydonian region of Mars and was recorded by Viking II in 1976 when images were streamed live and uncensored to the public.
Since then the authorities have choosen to withold images at the Manlin Space Centre who's decision it is to release or withold information as may be required to protect the public.
